# Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with TextsAnalyzer, including chats you submit and reports you receive.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of textsanalyzer.com and all related features, including the free preview and paid reports (the "Service"). The Service is operated by *TODO_COMPANY_NAME*, a company registered in *TODO_JURISDICTION* with its registered address at *TODO_REGISTERED_ADDRESS* ("we", "us", "our"). This AUP forms part of our [Terms of Service](https://textsanalyzer.com/terms.md). By using the Service you agree to it.

## 1. You must have the right to submit the chat

Chats often contain personal information about other people. By uploading or pasting a chat, you represent and warrant that:

- you were a **participant** in the conversation, or you have the lawful authority and any consent needed to submit it;
- you obtained the chat **lawfully**. You did not get it through unauthorised access to another person's device, account, or messages, through spyware, or through interception;
- submitting the chat for analysis does not breach any law, court order, confidentiality obligation, or contract that binds you;
- you will use the report only for your own personal understanding and not to harm anyone mentioned in the chat.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not include information you are not comfortable having processed as described in our [Privacy Policy](https://textsanalyzer.com/privacy.md).

## 2. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service, or any report it produces, to:

**Harassment, surveillance and stalking**

- harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, shame, or blackmail any person;
- monitor, surveil, track, or stalk another person, including a current or former partner, family member, employee, or anyone else, or control that person's communications or behaviour;
- analyze chats obtained by secretly accessing someone else's phone, accounts, or backups, or by using monitoring or "spy" software;
- build profiles of, de-anonymise, or locate any individual;
- publish, distribute, or share a report or chat content to humiliate, expose ("dox"), or retaliate against anyone.

**Child sexual exploitation**

- submit any content that sexualises minors or depicts, describes, or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. We report such content to the relevant authorities where required or permitted by law.
- use the Service to groom, contact, or gather information about a minor for any harmful purpose.

**Illegal and harmful content or activity**

- submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- plan, promote, or facilitate violence, self-harm, terrorism, human trafficking, fraud, scams, or any other criminal activity;
- submit malware or malicious code, or content crafted to manipulate or break the Service's analysis;
- use the Service in a way that violates sanctions or export control laws, or from a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.

**Abuse of the Service**

- access the Service by automated means, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts, except through an interface we expressly provide for that purpose;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, reports, or data from the Service;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent free-preview limits, rate limits, payment, or access controls, for example by creating multiple accounts or manipulating requests;
- **reverse engineer**, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code, rules, templates, or underlying logic of the Service, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach its security or authentication measures (please report security issues to *TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL* instead);
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its networks, including by overloading or denial-of-service attacks;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its reports without our written permission;
- use stolen or unauthorised payment methods, or engage in card testing or fraudulent chargebacks;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

## 3. Reports are not professional advice

Reports are produced by rule-based, automated analysis, may be incomplete or imperfect, and are provided for informational purposes only. They are **not** psychological, medical, legal, or relationship advice, and they must not be used as evidence of anyone's intentions or as the sole basis for decisions that affect another person. **If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services immediately.**

## 4. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may refuse or stop providing the service and, where appropriate, refund the purchase. To the extent permitted by law, we may also:

- refuse to process a submitted chat or to provide a report;
- preserve relevant information and report unlawful activity to law enforcement or other competent authorities, and cooperate with valid legal requests;
- take legal action to recover losses caused by the breach.

Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why we took action. If you believe we acted in error, you can appeal by contacting *TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL* within 30 days.

## 5. Reporting violations

If you believe someone is using the Service in breach of this AUP, including if you think **your own messages have been submitted without your authorisation**, please contact us:

- Please include a description of the issue, any relevant report or order IDs, and your contact details. Do not send child sexual abuse material to us. Report it directly to the competent authorities or hotline in your country.

We review reports promptly and aim to respond within **5 business days**. Urgent safety matters are prioritised.

## 6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated AUP.
